Ginger Turmeric Tea

Cut a quarter inch piece of ginger root into thin slices. Place in a pot with 2 cups of water and boil for approximately 5 minutes. Remove from heat, mix in half a teaspoon or one full teaspoon of ground turmeric, and let sit for approximately 5 more minutes. You can add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice (optional). It is recommended to drink 2-4 cups per day.
